Pirates & Wenches Weekend — the whole harbor goes buccaneer

Rum tasting and a sea-shanty sing-along Friday night. Saturday brings the decorated flotilla, the pirate poker run, the Buccaneer's Ball and a Main Street marketplace. Pirate performers, kids' games, grub & grog all weekend — and this year it sails as part of America's 250th.

The 10th Annual Sportsman's Bash kicks off at 11 this morning, with The Nighthawks at the Mainstay tonight at 7:30. Church on the Beach meets Sunday at 8:30. Then Betterton Day runs all day August 1st, capped by Josh Christina's piano rock & roll at the Mainstay.
